TITLE: Official Description Change: Unsigned Iowa 915 in Monroe County

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 96-TJ-013 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Albia transferred Unsigned Iowa 915 to the City of Albia on September 15, 1997.

PROPOSAL / ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Iowa 915 be deleted from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of Iowa 5 in 1995, the old section became Unsigned Iowa 915 and the Primary Road System should be revised to reflect this change.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 915, as described in the attachment, be added to the Primary Road System.

New Description - Unsigned Iowa 915 and its extensions in Monroe County described as follows:

Beginning on South Clinton Street at junction of 11th Avenue West and Iowa 5; thence northerly on South Clinton Street to 5th Avenue; thence easterly on 5th Avenue to Main Street (Iowa 5).
